Fatma Cheffi is a Tunisian independent curator, artist, and cultural worker based in Paris. Her practice explores language as a political and poetic terrain shaped by colonial histories, migration, and resistance. Through writing, voice, and performance, she investigates tensions between dominant and marginalized languages, silence and speech. Drawing from poetry, rap, and personal narratives, her work moves between the intimate and the political. Cheffi’s work has been presented internationally, including at the Lyon Biennale, IAC Villeurbanne, CAC Brétigny, Pickle Bar Berlin, KADIST Paris, and CAAC Seville.
