Xue Tan is a curator and writer currently serving as Chief Curator and Head of Programme and Exhibitions at Haus der Kunst in Munich, as well as co-curator of the 15th Shanghai Biennale. Previously, she was founding Senior Curator at Tai Kwun Contemporary in Hong Kong, where she developed a distinctive programme focused on performance and media. She has collaborated closely with numerous international artists, including Cyprien Gaillard, Francis Alÿs, Cao Fei, Tino Sehgal, and Ligia Lewis. Tan has also led curatorial projects with MUSEUM MMK für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt and the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College in New York.
